What Happens When We Die?

What Happens When We Die?

The question that many of us think about. What happens when we die? I know we all wonder what happens next. There are many theories out there. But are they true? Who do we trust? Who do we believe? Who can tell us what happens when we die? The true answer to those questions may surprise you.

Let me start with a little clarification. I make notes of blog topics I want to write about. I have a list of about 100 topics so far. As I write the topic down, I have no clue at the time on what my blog will center on. In fact, I will go back and forth between topics to write until the universe stops me and reveals to me this is the one. That is what happened here.

I started to write this blog on this topic on several occasions, but could not figure out what I was meant to say about it. Until now. The universe has shown me and is speaking to me and I am writing. I am not doing any research, I am not looking up any definitions, I am not reading anyone else's experiences, I am opening my mind to the universe and I am writing.

What happens when we die? Well let's start here. If you grew up in any type of organized religion you have been taught about heaven and hell. Some may call it paradise, or hades and purgatory. Even ancient cultures have their own versions of where you go including Valhalla among the Norse. According to these organizations and cultures, how you live your life now determines where you go when you die. But is that true? Do you really go to those places? Or is this an attempt by people, who have no clue as to what happens, to calm the questions of a worried or inquisitive society?

Let's look at the opposite extreme. What happens when we die? Some people believe we are just humans in a human body. There are no God's, no heaven, no hell, no afterlife. Once you die. That's it. It's over. Nothing else happens and you cease to exist. Is this true? Or is this another attempt by a group of people to answer the question that nobody really knows the answer too?

What happens when we die? Maybe our souls that inhabit these earthly bodies cross over to another realm or another dimension. They ascend to a higher state. Reunite with other souls and recognize all of the past lives they have experienced. They remain here until they are ready to enter into a new contract and reincarnate back to this world. Is this what happens? Or is this another attempt to explain away the question nobody really knows?

What happens when we die? What about the people who have had near death experiences or NDE’s? As I said, I'm not researching or looking into anyone's comments or experiences. I can't verify them, I can only speak for myself. Everyone has their own journey and their own experiences. You need to take what benefits you out of those experiences of others. If that is their experience then that is amazing and they may know the answer to this question. There are many similarities and many differences in all of the stories out there. Is that where we find the answer to this question?

What happens when we die? What a topic. I never imagined there were so many different ways to write about this. So many different opinions. But what is true? Where is the answer?

I believe the answer to this question lies within all of us. I believe we all entered into a contract to inhabit these earthly shells for a set amount of time. I believe we all know the answer to this question as we have all experienced death before in past lives. The answer to this question involves us separating ourselves from the programming and training of this world and seeking our own understanding, seeking our higher consciousness and reaching deep within our soul.

This is where the answer to this question lies. Not in a sermon, not in a religious book, not in a movie, not in a documentary, not in someone else's experience. The answer is inside all of us. We already know the answer, we have just been trained to answer the question.

What happens when we die? You know the answer, you just have to search within.

Blessed Be!
