I Met the Spirits of 2 Cherokee Families
The forest where we hike is a magical place. It is an escape into nature forest. The beauty of the forest brings much peace and relaxation to us.
On many trips into this forest I have encountered many spirits and entities. On several occasions I have returned to the forest to meet with the spirits during my meditations. I have documented these spiritual journeys and I am going to share another one of those with you today.
It was a beautiful day for a hike. It was late spring and the weather was perfect for us to enjoy our time in the forest. We had not maneuvered the trail too far into the forest before we stopped near some rapids at one part of the mountain stream.
After a few minutes of relaxing to the sound of the water moving swiftly over the rocks, my soulmate decided to move forward on the trail. I started to follow, but something on the mountainside on the other side of the stream prompted me to stop.
I could feel the presence of spirits on that side, but was not able to interact with them. I took a video of the area and then proceeded on down the trail. I would not encounter anything else on the hike.
Later that night I went to my meditation. As I entered the meditation I began to travel to the area of the forest where I felt the presence of the spirits.
Once I arrived, I was greeted by several Cherokee spirits. There were 2 families who were encamped in that area of the forest. A family of five and a family of four. They had a fire going in their encampment and had me take a seat with them.
After greeting each other and sitting for a few minutes, they began to tell me they were fleeing from their village in Little River.
They told me settlers were beginning to move onto their land and the village elders wanted to bargain with them or fight them if the bargaining didn't work out.
These 2 families did not want any dealings with the settlers, good or bad, and were on a journey to the Smokey Mountains to meet up with other Cherokee.
The father of the largest family told me that when he was a boy, his father would hunt in these woods and would camp sometimes in this spot. He was familiar with the area and was very grateful for the seclusion it provided.
The 2 families would stay in these woods for 2 months and then they moved on to the Smoky Mountains. Then, just as quickly as it began, my meditation ended.
It has always been a great experience meeting with the different spirits of the forest. In fact, I encounter them at several different times. I would meet the husband and wife of one of the families on another hike, and in one of my most recent spiritual experiences I encountered one of the families again with one of the children offering me water. The latter 2 times I was able to interact with the spirits on my hike while I was in the forest.
Now I want to learn more about all of the spirits of the forest and I am excited to get back out there.
Would you like to experience them with me? Well you can read about them in my blogs, but hopefully soon my hiking business will start and I will be offering spiritual hikes where we may encounter the spirits together. Interested? Please let me know. Thank you for your support!
Blessings!
