Greyskull The Pirate: A Meditational Journey.
Today's blog is going to be about another meditational journey I experienced. In this journey I meet another spirit and interact with him. I'm not sure what all of this means, or how I gain access to these spirits and I am waiting for the Universe to show me.
So here is that meditational journey.
Tonight's meditation started just like all of my others, at the fire with the ancestors. We were all dancing around the fire and then they stopped and started discussing my health with me. They told me that if I would just let go of the worldly programming, then I could train my body to heal itself. I told them that I wanted to be able to learn how to do that.
The Ancestors all nodded in agreement. One of them presented a pipe for me to smoke. I inhaled one time and I was like WHOA. They kind of chuckled and told me to lay back and enjoy the ride.
My spirit animal the Eagle appeared and it took me far away to an island surrounded by bright blue water with lush green tree tops touching the sky. Walking along the beach of the island was a pirate. He came up to me and introduced himself to me as Greyskull. He wanted to talk to me about his life. Here is the story of Greyskull:
Ages ago I was tired of the boring life that I had. There had to be greater things the world had to offer me. So I set out to discover those things. After years of seeking and not finding what I was looking for, I selected to live the life of a pirate. Basically I was taking what wasn't mine because I couldn't find my own way in this life.
One day, I heard an extravagant tale of a great treasure. The tale said it was located on an island, and I was given a map with an X on it marking the spot where I would find the treasure. I was excited to finally have an opportunity to make my life something and I set sail for the island.
Once I arrived on the island, I spent days searching and searching for the treasure. But I was never able to find it. Perhaps someone had found it before me. Perhaps it never existed. Frustrated and distraught, I decided to give up and leave the island.
I set sail back to the high seas. Suddenly my ship was confronted by a massive storm. The storm overtook my ship and caused it to sink not far from the island. I went to the bottom of the sea, never finding the life I had been searching for.
But here is what I want you to take away and share with others. Sometimes the life you want isn't what the world gives you. Sometimes we look for answers and solutions from this same world that has already given us what we do not want. The X isn't on the island. The X is not a chest of gold. The X is inside of you. The treasure we should seek is our heart, consciousness and soul. My friend, seek those, find those inside of you, and they will show you who you are and guide you to the life you are supposed to have in the universe. Don't seek the things this world has. Don't seek others. Seek the X deep inside of you. Thank you for coming to see me. It's time for me to move along. I hope this old Pirate has been able to help you. Goodbye for now. We will meet again.
And suddenly he was gone and I was back at the fire with the ancestors. They were all sitting calmly meditating with me. Once they realized I was back, they told me to take to heart what I had heard. To tell others about Greyskull The Pirate.
After that they sent me to my healing garden and then my meditation was over.
I do know I am supposed to share these meditations to help others. But I'm still trying to figure out my journey and my gifts through all of this. I will take to heart what Greyskull told me. I am sharing and I am seeking the X inside of me.
